The Reliability and Risk Department recognises the economic impact on the business of managing reliability levels, safety risks and maintenance management. In order to quantify the return on investment, or to support the decision-making process when purchasing new technologies, OSR is able to prepare a life cycle cost analysis. This analysis has helped OSR, for example, in the decision to replace/upgrade the hydrogen compressor drive at Česká Rafinerská, a.s. or in the management of the inventory management at Unipetrol RPA.
